Fredéric Hoch has been in love with the magic of photography since childhood. Though he studied economics, his passion was to trawl for early photographic and cinema material in fairs and markets. In 1986 he began dealing in rare pieces for collectors, and has since become a recognised specialist in the field of cameras, optical toys and the first photographic images - daguerreotypes.
